This panel and workshop—constituting a significant phase of the project titled “A Spatial Transformation Model for University Campuses as Post-Earthquake Emergency Temporary Shelters: The Case of Özyeğin University”, which investigates how university campuses can be transformed into temporary accommodation sites after disaster, aims to generate spatial solution proposals by bringing together a broad, interdisciplinary group composed of relevant public institutions, local authorities, experts, academics, civil society representatives, and students.
As the project team, we aim to integrate academic knowledge with practical applications and to develop proposals that can be implemented across different institutions and strengthen societal resilience.
