Assistant Professor Mohammed Elamassie Held Two Tutorials at the 2025 IEEE ICC Conference

Assistant Professor Mohammed Elamassie, a faculty member at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and the Executive Co-Director of the Center of Excellence for Optical Wireless Communications Technologies (OKATEM) at Özyeğin University, co-presented two tutorials at the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC). One of the flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society (COMSOC), the IEEE ICC 2025 received 95 tutorial proposal submissions, and only 28 of them were accepted. Dr. Elamassie had two tutorials out of the 28 accepted ones.

Details of the tutorials are as follows:

1. First Tutorial: Advancing Optical Communication: Visible Light Communication and Multi-Layer Airborne Backhaul Networks, held on Sunday, June 8, 2025
2. Second Tutorial: Optical Wireless Communication: From Fundamentals to Future Directions, held on Thursday, June 12, 2025
