Assistant Professor Başak Ozan Özparlak Joined the Trustworthy 6G Working Group under COST Action

Assistant Professor Başak Ozan Özparlak from the Department of Information Technology Law at the Özyegin University Faculty of Law has joined the “6G PHYSEC” project’s Working Group 1 on “Trustworthy 6G” conducted by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) organization.

The project, “Physical layer security for trustworthy and resilient 6G systems” (6G PHYSEC), aims to ensure the physical layer security and trustworthy and resilient 6G wireless networks. Dr. Ozan Özparlak is part of Working Group 1 to research ensuring the trustworthiness of 6G networks in alignment with the European Union cybersecurity legislation and the Artificial Intelligence Act. Since 1971, COST has received various European Union funds, including those from Horizon Europe. Through this interdisciplinary study, our university will play a prominent role internationally in strengthening the legal framework for ensuring trustworthiness and cybersecurity solutions in 6G networks.
