Our graduate students Elif Gizem Tunçel and Ebru Tatar from The Mechanical Engineering Department of OzU have been selected among the twelve finalists at the International “Go Green in the City Competition.”

Elif Gizem Tunçel and Ebru Tatar, graduate students at The Mechanical Engineering Department and researchers at CEEE (The Center for Energy, Environment and Economy), of Özyeğin University have become one of the twelve teams to make it to the finals of “Go Green in the City Competition”, out of 19,722 teams competing worldwide. Working with Professor Pınar Mengüç, Ebru and Elif Gizem have also received the “Women in Business Award.”

Organized by Schneider Electric, the seventh “Go Green in the City Competition” is being  held with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students studying business management and engineering from all over world, with the aim to promote innovativeness and sustainability as their main objectives.

Together with the other finalists, Elif Gizem and Ebru will be in Paris between 9-13 Oct 2017 to present their project to Schneider Electric special jury and will compete for the first place.
